TimberWolf Casterboards are made by the O'Rourke family in Harlingen, Texas. T.J. O'Rourke has been an inventor/engineer in the sport/toy industry for 30 years. He is the inventor of bidirectional casterboards and his son NATO is the inventor of bidirectional CASTERBOARDING!
TimberWolf casterboards are not an effort to get rich. It is an effort to work in the sport of casterboarding by providing better equipment and options. To do so in such a way that casterboarding lends to our living in every way. With its health and creative benefits, casterboarding is a definite positive thing to do in your life.We highly recomend it for young and old.
Whether you are a young trixter or an old cruiser, TW casterboards take it to the next level of performance. TW's are the first to employ western boardsport technology to casterboards; technology and evolution learned in the40 years since the Dogtown Z-Boys, and the Cadilac Urethane wheel. Maple is the material of choice to give boards the pop of life. The UHMW/Fiberglass torsion bar gives your whole board vertical thrust. The patent-pending bi-directional Rock & Roll casters add a whole new dimension to your riding and the tricks that are possible to you. The TW Rocks wheels are cutting edge technology. The cores are made with polycarbonate (yes, that's the bulletproof stuff). The 90a Urethane formula is a technological breakthrough in durability which rolls you faster, truer and lasts longer than anything previous.

TW casterboards are modular. This means; gone are the days of one size fits all, take it or leave it, one break and its all over casterboards. Every part of a TW casterboard is individually & economically replacable . As we design improvements (we are working on them all the time) you can be sure you can implement them on your board. The most recent improvement is our caster bearing (not the wheel bearings). We are now using a deeper groove bearing that extends the life of this part many-fold.
Our new decks are shaped right here in Texas. They are cold pressed and hand painted/printed on the bare wood. Each board is an individual creation. And since it is painted/printed on the bare wood, the color soaks into the wood and won't flake off like commercial heat tranfers. They are then sealed with 2 coats of high gloss laquer.
John Ryan & Myself make custom knives. Often we take apart classic knives and then polish and filework the parts before we finish it off with custom inlay handles. We also make some fixed blade and fishing knives. All are of Collector quality but are durable enough to do the job for the hunter or handyman
